God willing, Elder Vernon Johnson and I will leave this coming Monday, 10/11, for the countries of Kenya & Uganda. Attached you will find an itinerary for our trip.
We hope to visit each of the PB churches and fellowships in Kenya during the first week. Our focus in Uganda during the next week and one-half will be to preach to the three new "fellowships" and to study the basics of our doctrine and practice with the half-dozen or so men who have expressed an interest in preaching. We want them to be firmly grounded in the fundamentals of the faith.
Your prayers are certainly coveted. Karen will use this same distribution list to send updates from time to time of my whereabouts and activities.
Thanks to each of you for your encouragement and interest in this effort thus far.

Elder Johnson has been in communication for the past year or more with several men in Uganda. They have been studying the notebooks Elder Johnson has sent concerning the doctrines and practices of Primitive Baptists. There are three separate “fellowships” meeting regularly and a half dozen men who are speaking and teaching these “fellowships.” Elder Onyoni has been in correspondence with them also.
For the next 10 days, we plan to study systematically with these men together with a few of the brethren who travel with us from Kenya, teaching basic doctrine and attempting to answer whatever questions they might have. We also plan to preach at least twice in each of the three fellowships.
Thur morning Oct 28 Return to Nairobi, Kenya
Fri Oct 29 Arrive home at 3:10pm
