Meditating on God's word is a catalyst for both growth in grace and continual intimacy with Christ. The psalmist David describes those who meditate on God's law as being blessed. The apostle Paul conveyed to his son in the ministry Timothy that it was through meditating on the scriptures that brought Christian growth.
In 2004 Dolph Painter began writing for The Danielsville Monitor. After two years the newspaper stopped publishing religious articles, but Dolph continued writing for the church he served as pastor.
Daily Meditations is the culmination of those writings. In these pages Dolph Painter has purposed to facilitate daily reflection through anecdotal stories and scriptural presentations. Daily Meditations has 365 devotions that discuss family, historical events, current events, God's saving grace, daily living, as well as many other subjects. The words contained in this work can help to keep your mind daily focused on God and discipleship.
