Our people love to read articles, receive periodicals, and listen to sermons while they drive or work. Because of the prevalence and capability of smartphones, one of the most recent ways of distributing the message has been through video on the internet. In fact, anyone with a smartphone and a facebook page can livestream their sermons at no additional cost! At Flint River, we began doing this just over a year ago and without a doubt, it has been worthwhile. Our folks can watch when they're out sick. It has helped us have a presence in the community. Also, PB from around the country (and beyond) can watch a sermon during their week.

Over the past year, we have used a couple of different methods to accomplish this. Since many of our brethren have been curious about trying this out in their assemblies, I felt compelled to produce an off-the-cuff tutorial walking you through each method we utilized. In it, we first look at livestreaming via a smartphone and then consider livestreaming by way of a PTZ camera and PC.

If you're interested in this form of outreach and don't know where to start, this video could be worthwhile.
